Doda, January 25:  Childline Doda celebrated National Girl Child Day, in collaboration with Mahila Shakti Kendra and Sakhi One Stop Center here at Village Shangroo  of Block Bhalla.

The day was marked by holding an outreach campaign and Awareness programme.

The Childline team visited village  Shangroo and informed the locals  and children about Child helpline 1098 on which the whistleblowers can report about the children in distress.

Childline Doda team also enlighten locals about COVID-19 appropriate behaviour through SMS

After the special outreach campaign, the Childline Doda organised an awareness programme on “National Girl Child Day.”

The main objective of the programme was to aware the girls about their rights. The Childline team Team and Sakhi team interacted with the adolescents and enlightened them about personal health and hygiene, nutrition and importance of education.
