Imphal: Heavy rainfall and hailstorm damaged large numbers of houses and uprooted trees in Manipur on Sunday.
Electricity supply was affected and many houses were blown away.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh in a message on a social media network said all the district officials have been asked to submit a report of damages. Traffic was disrupted as debris were scattered on the roads.
