NEW DELHI, Aug 21: The Rapid Action Force (RAF) was deployed in and around the Parliament Street police station on Friday as Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi staged a sit-in demanding registration of an FIR over pellet injuries suffered by a youth during a July 20 protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
Police sources said a large number of police and RAF personnel were deployed around the station, which also houses the office of the New Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police.
