NEW DELHI, Aug 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to people on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi and expressed hope that the festival would promote togetherness and joy.
Milad-un-Nabi is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
In a post on X, Modi said, “Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Milad-un-Nabi. I hope this occasion furthers togetherness and joy all around us.”
He also wished that the spirit of kindness and giving back to society would continue to guide people.
