Iran Rejects War Threats, Says Its Policies Will Remain Unchanged

Dubai, October 25: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday said that renewed threats of war would not force Tehran to change its policies, while warning the United States against launching fresh strikes on the country.

Addressing a group of diplomats in Tehran, Araghchi said Iran was preparing for the post-war situation, regardless of whether another conflict breaks out.

“Today, again war is being spoken about, but I am thinking about post-war status. Whether a war occurs or not, our policies will remain in place,” he said.

Araghchi also reiterated Iran’s willingness to cooperate with neighbouring Arab countries in the Persian Gulf, despite rising regional tensions.

“Everything has changed in our region,” he said, adding that the situation would not return to what it was before the recent war.
