Kargil: Under SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) a program was held in Sub Division Zanskar under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Romil Singh Donk in his office chamber.
Tehsildar/AERO Zanskar, EXen were present during the program.Officers and officials from various departments along with a large number of general public also attended the program.
SDM Zanskar shed light on the paramount importance of voting and also underscored the crucial role that every individual plays in the democratic process by casting their vote.
Emphasizing the power of democracy, the officer reiterated the importance of informed and responsible voting decisions in strengthening the fabric of nation.The event was aimed at fostering awareness and participation in democratic process, garnered significant attention and participation from the local community.
Sharing his views on the occasion, Tehsildar Zanskar pledged the newly enrolled voter to exercise their vote freely and asked to participate enthusiastically in the voting process.
“As we stand on the threshold of shaping our collective future through the power of democracy, let us remember the weight of our individual voices and the impact they hold. Your vote is not merely a choice but a statement, a testament to your beliefs and aspirations for our community and our nation,” he said.
A signature campaign as part of SVEEP was also held during the program where SDM, Tehsildar Exn R&B and other officers added their signatures.
