Jammu Jul 22 :- A peaceful protest of ALL JAMMU BASED EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION KASHMIR continued for consecutive 53rd day, today in the scorching heat at Ambedkar Chowk / Park, Jammu.
The protest starts with the pledge of integrity and sovereignty towards the nation and unity of the agitation. They protesting peacefully to get early redressal of their demands and grievances. Hundreds of Jammu Based employees from various departments rendering their services in Kashmir Division are on continuous peaceful protest since 1st of June, 2022 after the 9th target killing of Mrs Rajni Bala Teacher who was serving as a Teacher at District Kulgam in Kashmir Division, Protesting employees participated in the protest even in the sweltering heat and incessant rain.
The Many of the protestors Ramesh Chand, Kuldeep Kumar Naresh Kumar Bimla Devi Krishan Balgotra Pardeep Kumar Kuldeep Raj, while speaking, urged the Hon’ble Lt Governor JKUT to issue necessary orders as has been discussed and assured by the Hon’ble Lt Governor during the earlier meeting held on 27.06.2022 at Governor House Jammu regarding our 3-point genuine demands including formation of a comprehensive time bound transfer policy, utilization of services of employees in their respective district and not to pressurize the Jammu based employees to resume their duties in prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley.
They also urged the LG Administration for taking cognizance on the issue of salary of the Jammu Based Employees which is being kept withheld by some DDO’s of different departments of Kashmir division and issue necessary direction to the Kashmir administration for release of salary of the employees as they leave the station under Article 21 – Right to Life.
Female employees were compulsively seen in large numbers with their kids, they also urged L.G Administration to frame a suitable comprehensive transfer policy within a short time so that their services could be utilised in their domicile district.
